Choosing Mountain States to do my kitchen was a win for me! I am extremely happy with my kitchen, pantry, mudroom, and bathroom cabinetry!
Jerry was so patient in the planning of my kitchen. It took me over a year of planning and he was patient and helped contribute in many ways. I never felt pressure and always felt like he wanted to do things the way I wanted it done, but he also gave me his perspective and his expertise and experience having been in the business of designing cabinetry for over 25 years.
Jeffrey came out and confirmed all the plans before the cabinet build began. His attention to detail and making sure everything was right before everything began gave me more confidence in. Mountain States.
When Natasha delivered my Cabinets with her team, I was even more impressed. The cabinets were beautiful, and they worked with grace and respect as they carefully delivered and laid out my cabinets. Because of how big my job was, there were many cabinets. They were careful and respectful of my home and my new cabinets.
Mauricio, the installer, was also very impressive. He worked steadily and carefully asking questions when necessary and cleaning up after every day of work.
Daniel installed my cabinet fronts and was the last man on the job. He did a great job and made minor adjustments to make sure everything operated smoothly in my kitchen.
Mountain States as a whole, how they run their business, treat their employees, and treat their customers contributed to how I feel about Mountain States.
Mountain States gets five stars from me! I would hire them again and I am very happy I chose them to do my large project! I would recommend Mountain States to anyone looking for cabinetry!

I have used Mountain States to build two kitchens, and both have far surpassed my expectations!!!!!! I always recommend them. PS: ignore the parts I haven’t finished yet like the hood and backsplash; that’s on me, lol).

Our experience remodeling our kitchen with Mountain States was phenomenal. From beginning to end, there was excellent communication and guidance. Jerry was so helpful in redesigning the layout of our kitchen. Jeffrey was great to work with for scheduling out the work through to completion. The price was the best we were quoted. Highly recommend!!

In 2016 my wife and I selected MSK&B to redo our entire 'contractor-grade' kitchen in our 1991 home here in Sandy. We received bids from at least four local contractors, settled in on a final two, and ultimately picked Mountain States to do the work. Not only did they refinish our entire kitchen, but they also re-did our vanity in our master bath and our vanity in our guest bathroom as well. That was eight years ago.
Now, we can honestly say that Mountain States did a wonderful job on our kitchen and both of our bath vanities. Honestly, I'm surprised that I didn't give them a write-up back then...but I am doing it now. And I'm also doing it now due to some recent service they provided to our kitchen slide-out drawers.
In fact we make it a habit to always visit the MSK&B displays at all of the Home Shows here in Sandy. We did so again a few weeks ago for the Fall Home Show, and ended up speaking to one of the sales ladies working the booth. We explained to her some issues we were having with a few slide-out racks, and specifically the 3-level spice rack to the side of our range. She said she would get in touch with us...and she did! We don't remember her name but we did get a call directly from Natasha. I called Natasha back the other day and explained what we were looking for, and she came out Wednesday. She arrived on time and proceeded to address the spice rack issue (there was a problem with the sliders that she fixed) and inspected at least six other racks for us. She lubricated all of our pull-out sliders and now everything is working great! The best part is that all of this inspection, repair, lubrication, and adjustment service was FREE. Yes, after eight years Mountain States really came through and provided some needed service to long-term - and very satisfied - customers. Thank you!

We recently had Mountain States Kitchen and Bath install new cabinets in our kitchen and we are really happy with the results. From start to finish, the entire experience was great. The quality of the cabinets is outstanding, made with only hardwood and laminate plywood - no particleboard here.
The team was always on time, meeting their schedules and keeping their appointments. They provided solid bids that were transparent and accurate. Throughout the process, they answered all of our questions and even gave suggestions on how to handle the rip-out ourselves and suggestions on related projects such as ripping up the floor and putting down luxury vinyl plank. They educated us on the relevant building codes for our area. They gave us recommendations on where to bring the electricity up to the door floor. We do want to emphasize the importance of paying close attention when signing off on the specifications to ensure that everything is to your liking, as they do build cabinets exactly to the specifications provided.
They suggested a new island configuration that gave us more room in the kitchen, but at the same time provided better counter top space and more cabinet space. This was a brilliant solution that we had not considered before, and we are so grateful for their expertise. The room now feels much bigger.
Communication was excellent, and they kept us informed as the installation approached and when we set dates on the calendar, they kept them. The cabinets were built exactly to specification (thus it’s really important to pay close attention to the specs when you sign off.)
The installation was flawless - perfectly level and perfectly placed. The doors and drawers are perfectly aligned and close softly. The final trim work fit over the new floor perfectly. We were truly impressed. The cabinets are absolutely stunning and when we wanted a couple of extra shelves, they provided them without hesitation.
Finally, the granite work was beautiful. They did each section in a solid piece (the old granite had seams), which looks fantastic. They worked with us on using the remnant granite in bathrooms.
Overall, we highly recommend Mountain States Kitchen and Bath for anyone looking for top-quality kitchen cabinets and installation. Their dedication to their craft is evident in every aspect of their work, and we couldn't be happier with the results.
ONE YEAR LATER:
We still love our cabinets. I was a little nervous when we chose white. However after a year, no visible wear can be seen on any of them, even the doors of under the sink, which probably get the most opening / closing, food dropped, etc. The white finish is amazing and wipes up like a dream. The plywood used in these, especially the shelves is resilient and strong. The finish is excellent. Still very happy with our experience.
